Look what I found.

My iPod.

I totally forgot how to turn it on.

Since getting my iPhone, I haven’t had to use the iPod. I mean really. the phone has a camera, games, the internet, music, a calculator, an alarm clock, a flashlight, my email, and a PHONE. This makes the iPod (and iPad) obsolete.

My, how fast we have come in the last couple of years. Scary, isn’t it?

I’m awake! And I’m at work.

That’s the positive.

I spoke to a customer who went from wanting to get a lawyer and sue us at the beginning of the phone call to loving me and wanting to meet me and buy me lunch. Yeah. I’m that good.

However, being nice is exhausting. It’s easier to be snappy. It’s so easy to be a bitch.

Oh, well. Still smiling.

It’s my mother’s birthday. She would have been 80 had she survived her heart attack.

As for me, I’m getting very near to the age she was when she died. Like NEXT YEAR close.

I even saw an attorney today. The trust is a mess. I need to protect my assets from interlopers, like impending in-laws.

Like I’m going to have any money at all after this roller coaster ride of life.

Any-hoo, here’s a famous ear shot, including interesting earrings I made with a single wire.

That’s a photo of my daughter behind me. Holding up two star fish we found on the beach at Half Moon Bay.

They make very interesting bra cups.

I decided to get a pedicure!

04-24 nashville

I chose a color that would complement my naturally purple wardrobe.

It was my first pedie since the son got married. In October, 2011.

That night, we’d gone for a girls’ night out, me, the daughter, the impending daughter in law, and the daughter’s friend. It was a good time. After our afternoon of beau-you-tay, I even bought a macaroon shaped like a penis and chocolate covered.

It took many months before that color wore off (gel – I wouldn’t recommend it), so I was turned off by the whole ritual.

The pedicure lasted longer than the honeymoon. *sigh*
