Friday the 13th.

I’m not one to be superstitious though, so that boat has sailed and is a dot on the horizon.

It’s still winter, it’s still (brutally) cold, it’s still gray. It’s time for cocoa!

But then the phone rang…

Throwback Thursday:

Chillin’ and grillin’ at my dad’s. Must have been a lot of rain. This was a long time ago. My dad no longer has grass in his backyard. The aspen tree behind me is now at least thirty feet tall and half dead. My dad has long since gone to gas grilling.

It’s time to get out the ugly, albeit warm shoes.

That’s because when I woke up this morning, it was just barely 40 degrees out.

These are my fur-lined UGG boaters. Like you need fur on a boat. UGGs proves you need fur on the beach.

Next year, I’m going to Instagram a year’s worth of Michigan weather. That’s because the sky has been gray the last 30 out of 32 days.

In the meantime, we will contemplate me in gray.
