My cat died yesterday, after a brief and traumatic illness, in which his guts spilled out all over the house.

So I am re-posting one of my cat-person-selfies. Because I’m going to be busy the next two days washing blood and guts out of my carpeting.

While waiting for the man who is remodeling our basement (and who has been on the job a year. Don’t ask.), I noticed Kitty under the piano in a bright swath of sunlight. I thought I’d join him there.

He didn’t care one way or the other. Dude. He eats, sleeps and poops. He’s living the high life.

The piano looks kinda crazy looking up from the floor. Just saying…
