At one time, I only bought tumbled stones. And I bought a TON of them.

This one is moukaite, which I love, as it has shades of yellow, purple, brown and white. No two are the same.

I added brass nuts and a citrine point to the design.

It’s not one of my favorites. I have hundreds of these stashed away.

I have so many of these pendants. Honestly. I can’t remember making half of them.

This one has a little of everything. Peridot, topaz, quartz, Chinese jade.

I should really think about having a sale.

Shifting to copper and stones:

I started out with polished stones because they’re cheap, and I like rocks. I started out with copper because it’s cheap.

Since copper is the new silver, I guess I lucked out on that one.

I continually buy stones, because I like rocks, but it’s not like I need any more. BELIEVE ME, I could live without picking up another rock. Unless I see something shiny…or unusual…or the color moves me…or the shape is different.

I know, I am NUTS.

This one’s in shades of blue. Labradorite, London blue topaz, aquamarine, chalcedony, with an occasional garnet.

My friend and jewelry teacher, Ms. Mary, thought this one looked like a butterfly, so I’m calling it Butterflies and Hurricanes.

Cripple Creek turquoise, amethyst, pyrite, sterling, gold fill.

This piece was juried into a show at the University of Michigan.

I’m in love with purple.

This one has lots of amethyst.

I love amethyst. I once bought 7 lbs. of raw amethyst nuggets. Why, I have no idea. They’ve been sitting in my basement ever since I lugged them home from Colorado three years ago.
