The juicy, delicious wondrousness of pears in my hand.

See that little white thing in the lower right corner? That’s a mothball. I spread an entire jumbo box of mothballs at the base of my tree, in order to deflect the interest of busy tailed rodents.

Nasty smelling, but it appears to be working.

I’m kinda-sorta getting ready for the Ann Arbor Art Fair, which is in two and a half weeks. I’m a member of the Michigan Silversmith Guild, so I will be in their tent again this year.

Art Fair is fun, but it’s (usually) on the hottest weekend of the summer. Two years ago, I thought I would die from heat stroke. Last year, it was so chilly, I had to buy a poncho from another artist to keep warm. The first year, I barely made enough to pay for my fee. Last year, I made a TON. It was nice. I prefer chilly and flush to hot and poor.

I’m making ankle bracelets this week. This one’s my favorite – sterling silver, jade and mystic topaz.

Damn, I have ugly ankles.

June 23

Sunday.

It’s supposed to be a day of rest.

Any day I don’t roll out of bed before 7:30 is a day of rest. Me? I have a lot of things to do today.

06-23 rise

Work, yard, shopping, cooking.

This is why I’m dressed to run.

I might edit some more this evening. Oh, yeah. That’s work too.

PS I might try out that Instagram movie feature today. If I can stop long enough to find something moving.
