Boxing Day.

The only thing I want to box is Mother Nature. It’s snowing up a storm.

I guess it had to happen.

Winter is here.

By the size of the snow flakes and the relentless precipitation, I would venture to guess that we’re in for at least six inches today. Still I braved the elements. I had to.

If I don’t go outside and walk around the yard, my Boston terrier will not poop. Outside, anyway. She’ll wait until I’ve turned my back and lay a big surprise right by the door.

I don’t have time today to shovel a space in the yard for her. That’s for my husband to do.

Okay, it’s officially winter. It snowed.

I know, I know. It could have been worse. A LOT worse. The states west of us are suffering from below zero temperatures. The states south and east of are under tons of snow. The states WAY south have ice.

But take my word for it; this is bad enough.

For those of you who think I took a driving selfie, you are so wrong. I never drive and selfie. I’m not that coordinated.

No, I was parked in front of my office, gathering courage to get out of the car and race for the front door.

Veteran’s Day. Thank you, men and women of the military.

The bad news is that it’s supposed to snow later. Right? I’m not happy.

I’m not prepared. I haven’t yet harvested my sweet potatoes. I was going to do it yesterday, but I had my hands full with Purrby the Cat.

I so would welcome global warming. When I can grow citrus, life will be perfect.
